NKA EVENT REPORT
The rapid development and spread of digital technologies pose new challenges for education and child protection. The series of events organized by Appsters Ltd. aimed to promote the safe and effective use of mobile applications and digital devices, as well as to increase the digital awareness of young people. During the series of events, various forums and workshops provided insights into best practices and user ethics issues, contributing to the responsible and conscious shaping of the digital world.
1. University of Debrecen – 2024.04.17.
Event: Mobile Apps in Education – Good Practices & Child Protection
The event titled „Mobile Applications in Education – Good Practices & Child Protection” took place on the professional day of the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen. The aim of the event was to introduce teachers and students to the educational applications of mobile technology and practices important for child protection.
The event featured roundtable discussions with trusted opinion leaders and experienced professionals, where we discussed the importance of the intersection of technology and pedagogy, as well as issues of user ethics and morality. During the presentations, we illustrated with concrete examples and successful case studies how mobile applications can be used in education effectively and safely.

2. Óbuda University KIN Cup – 2024.05.30-01.
Event: Mobile Apps – Child Protection
We participated as a professional supporter at the KIN Cup event held at the Kandó Kálmán Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Óbuda University, helping to ensure the successful implementation of the competition. The event provided us with the opportunity to indirectly connect with the university's students, inspiring them to commit to responsible IT practices.
Students competed in different teams in a 24-hour competition, where they had to solve creative problems and interactive games. During the event, we raised awareness of the opportunities and dangers of mobile devices in education and everyday life. We presented methods that help students use mobile applications safely and protect themselves from potential dangers.
3. EFOTT – 2024.07.10-14.
Event: Mobile Apps – Child Protection + Mobile First Party
As part of EFOTT, Hungary's largest university and college festival, we held the event "Mobile Applications - Child Protection", which was followed by a fun and innovative closing event, the Mobile First Party.
The aim of the event was to introduce young people to the dangers of the mobile world and the ways to protect themselves. We used interactive and skill games to raise awareness about the safe use of mobile devices, ensuring both fun and learning.
4. Nagymaros – 2024.07.14.
Event: Edtech Roundtable and Expo
The „Edtech Roundtable and Expo” was held in Nagymaros, focusing on the presentation of educational technology innovations and the sharing of experiences. The event aimed to bring together education professionals, teachers, students and interested parties and create an opportunity to learn about the latest edtech developments.
The event featured roundtable discussions where participants could share their experiences and perspectives on educational technology developments. In the Expo section, numerous professional exhibitors presented their innovative solutions that can help increase the efficiency of education and the safe use of digital devices.
