The M4 Sport mobile app is MTVA's official sports platform for iOS, Android and Huawei. The app provides users with live sports broadcasts, video content, news and results. During development, stable video playback, an architecture capable of handling high traffic and reliable operation were given high priority.

The app supports watching live broadcasts and rewatching sports videos. It provides a user experience with a clean appearance and an interface optimized for mobile and tablet. The long-term goal of the project is the broad, mobile-friendly availability of public media sports content.

We have been developing and maintaining the official M4 Sport mobile app for 10 years – since its inception. Since then, the app has been continuously updated in both its functions and appearance to keep up with the changing needs of sports broadcasting and digital content consumption.

Main features:

• • Live broadcasts and streaming – real-time access to TV broadcasts and sporting events
  • Sports news and results – up-to-date content from dozens of sports
  • Push notifications – customizable notifications about favorite teams and events
  • Event calendar – upcoming matches and competitions in a clear chronological order
  • Video content and reruns – highlights, interviews, background material
  • Clean, responsive UI – the image of the sports app, unique in Hungary, has been renewed several times over the years to remain modern and easy to use on all platforms.

Appsters' role: The Appsters team was responsible for the full development of the app, with a particular focus on creating a user-friendly and accessible interface. Our goal was to make the content easily accessible and enjoyable for all sports fans.

Result: A hugely popular mobile app boasting hundreds of thousands of downloads and active users, significantly increasing M4 Sport's digital reach and viewer engagement.
